Day 17 of 30

Today is the final of the series this week experimenting with lines. This one is done on watercolor paper that was not prepared in any way to accept the acrylic. This made the lines rougher and more textured themselves. An interesting comparison of the smoothness of the background on the previous two of this series to this last one in oranges and yellow greens, not a color combination I usually paint with. The lines are created with a quill and India ink, graphite and crayons.
Today was a very special day as we welcome a new granddaughter to the family, Ella Tyler Morse!
She arrived at 4 this morning, so I still managed to get a posting done! Love you, Miss Ella!
